No. Your signature is processed entirely within your browser using the HTML5 Canvas API. Nothing is ever sent to a server. When you close the tab or click Clear, the signature ceases to exist — unless you downloaded it first.

Yes. The signature pad supports full touch drawing on iOS and Android. On a touchscreen, simply draw with your finger or stylus. Touch scrolling is disabled within the drawing area so you don't accidentally scroll the page while signing.

You can download your signature as: PNG — a raster image with transparent background. Best for documents, emails, and web use. SVG — a vector file that scales to any size. Best for design work. PDF — a print-ready PDF with your signature on the page. Best when you need to send the signature as a standalone document.

Yes. The canvas background is transparent, so when you export as PNG, the signature appears on a clear background — no white box behind it. This means it integrates seamlessly into documents, emails, or websites of any background color.

In most cases, yes. Electronic signatures are recognized as legally binding under the ESIGN Act (USA), eIDAS Regulation (EU), Electronic Communications Act 2000 (UK), and similar laws in many other countries. However, certain documents (wills, real estate transfers, notarized documents) may require a higher standard of verification.

Yes. There are 8 preset colors to choose from — including black, navy blue, indigo, red, and more. There is also a custom color picker that lets you select any color.

Yes. Each click of Undo removes the most recent stroke. You can undo up to 50 strokes. There is also a Clear button that removes everything from the canvas at once.

Partially. Once the page has loaded (including the PDF library), you can draw and export PNG and SVG files without an internet connection. For full offline use, ensure the page has fully loaded before going offline.

The signature generator works in all modern browsers: Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Apple Safari, Microsoft Edge, and Opera. It also works in mobile browsers on iOS and Android. Internet Explorer is not supported.
