Free URL Parser & Analyzer Online
Break any URL into its components — protocol, host, path, query parameters, hash — instantly in your browser.
How it works
Paste a URL
Enter or paste any full URL including query strings and hash fragments.
Parse
Click Parse URL or press Enter. The URL is decomposed into its components.
Inspect components
See protocol, host, port, path, each query parameter, and the hash fragment.
Copy any part
Click copy on any component to use it independently.
Common use cases
Debugging redirect URLs
OAuth redirect_uri and callback URLs are complex. Parse them to verify each component is correct.
Query parameter inspection
Extract and read every query parameter from a tracking URL, API call, or logged request.
Path segment extraction
Split a URL path to identify resource IDs, slugs, or route segments in REST API URLs.
URL normalization
See the canonical form of a URL including default port numbers and normalized paths.
Frequently asked questions
What URL formats are supported?
Any well-formed URL with a protocol (http, https, ftp, etc.). Relative URLs without a protocol will fail — prefix them with https:// first.
How are query parameters shown?
Each key-value pair from the query string is shown separately with its decoded value. Repeated keys (arrays) are listed individually.
What is the hash fragment?
The # and everything after it in a URL — typically used for page anchors or client-side routing. It is never sent to the server.
Is my URL sent anywhere?
No. The parser uses new URL() — a native browser constructor. Everything runs locally.
