Frequently asked questions

Can I tile the watermark across the whole image?

Tiling is not currently supported — the watermark is placed at one of 9 positions. For full tiling, use the text watermark at centre and adjust size and opacity.

What image formats work for the logo watermark?

PNG (with transparency) works best for logos. JPEG, WebP, and GIF are also supported — PNG logos will retain their transparent background.

Can someone remove a watermark I add?

Any visible watermark can be removed with image editing software. For stronger protection, consider placing the watermark over key parts of the image or tiling it.

Does the output always save as PNG?

Yes — the watermarked image downloads as PNG. PNG preserves full quality and supports transparency. Use the Image Converter tool if you need JPEG output.

Can I add multiple watermarks?

Currently one watermark per export is supported. Re-apply with different settings for multiple watermarks.

Is my image uploaded anywhere?

No. All processing uses the Canvas API in your browser. Your images never leave your device.
